Did you know…

Roughly 50 percent of the coldwater habitat for salmon and steelhead in the Lower 48 United States is in the Snake River drainage?

That’s why we need to work to remove the four dams on the lower Snake.  Because if we don’t scientists fear the stocks of these fish will disappear within generations… not people generations, salmon generations… like 20 years or less. Congressman Mike Simpson (R-ID) has proposed a solution.

We as an industry need to get behind this in a high profile way. Just like we did with Pebble Mine, or are rallying in support of The Everglades, Boundary Waters and others (they’re ALL important).

TU is pulling together an ad/PSA for TROUT showing fly-fishing businesses that are supportive of salmon and steelhead in the Lower 48. If you want your company represented on that ad—no cost—please send a logo file via email with permission to use that mark to [email protected].

And thanks to the companies that are already working in support of this cause.
