Smith Releases Full Shield Style of Glasses for Fishing

From Smith:

Bright sun and open waters create the perfect storm for light reflection and glare, resulting in diminished performance while fishing, sailing, or running a river. Smith’s new Spinner sunglass with spherical ChromaPop™ lens technology provides temple-to-temple coverage so reading water has never been clearer.

The progressive full frame shield design is comprised of Smith’s proprietary Evolve™ bio-based frame material offering a lightweight, yet durable fit. The 6-base lens curvature creates a wraparound fit for substantial coverage and protection and offers an unsurpassed wide field of view. The Spinner provides 100% UV protection and is enriched with smudge and moisture resistant coatings for easy cleaning and clear optics across the four offered ChromaPop™ polarized performance lenses that enhance color and contrast on the water.

Flexible autolock hinges hold the frame open for comfort and ease while handling on and off the face, while the addition of megol temples and nosepads provide non-slip grip when reacting to perspiration and moisture to stay put.  The leash compatible temples also offer added security while reeling in a catch, rigging a sail, or paddling whitewater.

The new Spinner (MSRP $199 USD and includes hard case and microfiber bag) is available late February at select retailers and online at smithoptics.com.
