Borenstein Consults

A man with glasses and a mustache stands with his arms crossed, wearing a dark turtleneck against a grey background.Felix Borenstein, who formerly owned Owen River Lodge, widely considered a crown jewel among New Zealand’s South Island fly-fishing lodges, has started a consulting business. If you’re interested in some expert travel insights, whether you’re a lodge owner, travel agent, or otherwise, it would be a good play to reach out to Felix for counsel at [email protected]

Felix sold the successful and award-winning Owen River Lodge to Eleven Experience, and now lives on a 100-acre farm just upstream of ORL. He’s still very much a part of that community, and he’s still on the executive board of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association.

In his new role, he can help on a wide range of issues, from lodge operations, to marketing and more.
