North Point Brands continues its hiring streak by adding 3 more employees to the marketing team and grows both in-house and independent sales teams

North Point Brands, parent entity to Cheeky Fishing and Wingo Outdoors, has made significant additions to its internal team and is growing its external sales force. The company has added a Creative Director, Marketing Manager, and Customer Service Associate to its talented marketing team.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with James, Ellen, and Jack,” Chief Marketing Officer, Peter Vandergrift said. “We have a robust team with a variety of skills that complement each other. We are continuing to build two special brands here.”

James Daley comes from Orvis where he developed multiple visual campaigns over his 15-year stint. Daley assumes the role of Creative Director for both the Cheeky and Wingo brands. Daley comes with top-notch graphic design skills and a keen eye for imagery and video. He is also a talented artist. Daley will split his time between the North Adams office and his home in Vermont.

Ellen Wright has years of online marketing and strategy experience as well as outdoor prowess with footwear and PFD company, Astral. Wright assumes the Marketing Manager position for both brands. She brings a healthy dose of project management and strategic execution to the team.

Jack Sine takes over the Customer Service role and will be charged with the legacy of customer-service excellence that North Point Brands is known for. Sine is a recent graduate of Colby College and is an avid fly fisherman. He is full time at the NPB headquarters in North Adams.

“A substantial capital raise has allowed us to continue investing in people and product development,” said Ted Upton, NPB CEO. “We feel that hiring the right people is a crucial for our next phase of growth.”

Walker Crisp, former Customer Service and Operations Associate has been promoted to the role of Sales Manager focused on supporting retailers and Cheeky and Wingo independent sales reps in the field.
Along with full-time employees, NPB has added multiple independent sales representatives for both Cheeky and Wingo.

“We have grown our sales staff both in fishing as well as in the outdoor space,” commented Scott Doty, NPB Sales Director. “And with Walker now focusing on dealer services and inside sales, we are poised for even more new growth.”
