Utah Stream Access Coalition Provo Case Update

Well, the Utah Supreme Court has certainly taken a thorough interest in the Provo case! Last week, Justice Lee requested additional briefing regarding certain aspects of the Provo River and its potential navigability. At this time there is no request for further arguments by the court. Our counsel is getting right on this to address these questions in an expedient and thorough manner. We’ll keep you up to date as more information unfolds, but for now, you can stop holding your breath for a final ruling on the Provo. With this additional briefing and new timeline, at the earliest, we could get a ruling in a few months. We’ll keep you up to date as more information comes in.

In the meantime, we’ll continue our discussions with the State regarding the implications of the Weber case. Hang tight.
