Vedavoo’s new Day Pack

We called out Vedavoo, an upstart All-American (Lancaster, Mass.) manufacturer of slings, packs and other durable accessories last year at the IFTD show in Reno, and the company continues to build momentum.  Last year, Vedavoo posted its first profit, and this year to date, the company is already three times larger in terms of sales than it was all of last year.

Two new products worth checking out are the company’s Thinline Tablet Messenger, a simple case that can be worn a number of ways, and affixed to other Vedavoo packs. It features a no-frills, fully functional design, and is made of 100 percent American-sourced materials, including tear-resistant woven Cordura.  Retail is $79.

Vedavoo’s new Day Pack is just that, a backpack for carrying lunch, waders, raincoat, boots, and the sort.  It is also made of the same rugged fabrics as their other products and lists at $149.

Vedavoo chief Scott Hunter says the company is crawling, walking, and running with regard to expanding its specialty retail presence, working with a handful of select retailers to familiarize them with the products and ensure supply demands.  Tip: If you want to be on the leading edge of a product offering that seems destined for continued growth, it might be time to check out Vedavoo.
