From Alaska Brewing:

Alaskan Brewing has announced that it will be offering another chance for its fans to experience the Alaskan lifestyle firsthand through a new Live Life Alaskan giveaway in partnership with Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, Alaska Fly Out, and Alaska Airlines.

“The stunning, rugged landscape of Alaska, and all of the adventure to enjoy here is what drew us to the 49th state in the first place”, said Alaskan Brewing Co-Founder Marcy Larson, “Once we found a livelihood that would let us stay, we wanted to share the wonders of our home with the fans of our beer that made it possible.”

Alaskan and its partners are offering roundtrip airfare for two from wherever Alaska Airlines flies and five nights of lodging at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, which includes heli fishing, fishing directly from the lodge, exploring, backcountry hiking, sky trekking, lake paddling and adventuring around remote regions of the Tordrillo mountain range. The Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is a luxury fly-in, multi-sport lodge located on Judd Lake 70 miles from Anchorage. Fans can attend any Live Life Alaskan event in Alaskan’s 14 state distribution area or use an online entry form between now and September 3, 2013 to win the trip. Two trips will be awarded, one from qualifying online entries, and one from qualifying entry forms filled out at Live Life Alaskan events.

Alaskan Brewing has long wished for people who have experienced its beers to also have the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the 49th state that so inspires their products. This Live Life Alaskan giveaway is a new way for lucky fans to experience Alaskan adventure. In the past, Alaskan Brewing fans have gone salmon fishing, snowboarded in the Chugach mountains, taken glacier treks on the Juneau Icecap, visited the Brewery, kayaked Alaska’s beautiful fjords, gone flightseeing, and more.

The description given here could almost drive you out of your mind….if you like to fish and drink a beer afterward. The country has to be breath taking. I would love to take my wife up there for her to see that part of our wonderful USA. To say nothing about fly fishing there…..well, what all could you say? That would be an understatement for me. A life’s dream since “Gad-About-Gaddis”. If I could only fly—–.
