For 2012, Tibor will be adding an 11/12 model to their Signature Series.
Made entirely in the U.S., the series features a completely ventilated spool and frame made of durable bar-stock aluminum. More importantly, Ted Juracsik designed an entirely new waterproof sealed drag system which can be taken apart for self-maintenance yet still remain under warranty. A unique, mechanical clutch system allows for easy conversion between left and right hand retrieve with the turning of a few screws. Another nice feature is the constant seal pressure while in free-spool, making it impossible for the spool to overrun while stripping line.
The Signature Series is also available with the SpeedHandle Spool option and free nameplate engraving. These reels come standard with a lifetime warranty, and are available in two sizes and in all colors.
The 11/12 has a MSRP of $865, with spare spools running $435. The new 11/12 Signature Series reel goes on sale in December 2011.
