Fulling Mill, announced today that John Wolstenholme was to be appointed to the board of the company with immediate effect.
Having worked at Fulling Mill for the past 2 years, “John has established himself as an extremely valuable member of the team.” During this time he has managed the sales and marketing departments, and his specific brief will continue as Sales & Marketing Director.
In addition to extensive knowledge of the industry and all things fly fishing, John has a background and valuable experience in Africa where the company’s principal factory is located. Apart from his work in other parts of the world, he will be travelling to the factory on a regular basis to help maintain the company’s reputation for top quality flies.
The company’s MD, Barry Unwin, explained, “As everyone who knows him will testify, John is a thoroughly honest and extremely hard working individual with the highest standards to match. He is the perfect addition to the board of a company like ours, and his appointment is well deserved and welcomed by us all. In particular I know that he will bring a great deal to the role over coming years, and his (relative!) youth ensures that the future at Fulling Mill remains in secure hands.”
