Last month, Angling Trade swung through the headquarters of Skwala, to catch up with old friends and have a look at some of their new products. If you don’t already know, Skwala is a relatively new brand. They make performance fly fishing apparel and are building a name for themselves based on innovative design geared toward optimal end user experience.
In addition to checking out their waders, jackets, and insulation, we got a sneak peek at their next big announcement. Though we’re not allowed to give up the specifics just yet, I can confidently say this is unlike anything we’ve ever seen in fly fishing before. Developed in collaboration with Bushy Camo—another upstart company making a name for themselves in the visual deception wearables market—this new product is going to change the way we look at fly angling.
