Legend Passes

Angling Trade is sorry to relay news of the passing of Dr. Robert Behnke, renowned teacher, researcher, and author of the definitive text on salmonids, Trout and Salmon of North America.  It is fair to say that perhaps nobody did more to increase the angling public’s understanding of trout as Dr. Behnke.  His legacy lives on in the scores of students who now lead fisheries and conservation efforts nationwide.
