From RBFF:

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced the organization will attend this year’s International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades show (ICAST), being held July 11 – 13, 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. RBFF staff will be on site showcasing the organization’s programs and products that help increase participation in the sport, and engaging industry partners to develop innovative collaborative programs that support fishing and boating.

“ICAST is a great opportunity to share our efforts with the fishing industry and to engage with others to help advance our mutual goals,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “The more we can bring the industry together, the greater impact we’ll have on increasing participation overall, and increasing the number of current and future fishing industry customers.”

Located in the show’s Cyber Lounge (Booth #218), RBFF will highlight its award-winning Take Me Fishing campaign and digital tools, which include TakeMeFishing.org and its mobile content, the Take Me Fishing order xanax online no prescription how Boat Ramp App and the partner-embeddable Places to Boat & Fish Map. RBFF staff will also be available to discuss partnership and advertising opportunities.

New research shows fishing participation is up, and for the first time in years, more people are coming into the sport than have dropped out. Traffic to RBFF’s digital assets is also thriving with nearly seven million visits last year alone.

“We’re extremely pleased with these trends, but need the industry’s help to keep innovating and moving in the right direction,” added Peterson.
