Last February Angling Trade reported on a rash of fly shop thefts from Colorado to Chicago, complete with surveillance camera footage of the thieves in action. The Laughing Grizzly, Angler’s All, Charlie’s Fly Box, Trout’s Fly Shop, Orvis Cherry Creek, and Rocky Mountain Anglers were all hit in Colorado and lost thousands of dollars of merchandise.
It now appears that one of the thieves has been arrested by Chicago police in another case and has been extradited to Boulder, Colorado on a warrant.
