The 2019 election season is here and with it comes another strong group of industry professionals who have chosen to throw their hats in the candidate-ring. We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: we are fortunate to have an angling community that is as passionate about and dedicated as it is to the health and growth of our collective livelihood.
We have four seats open for this year’s election. This year’s candidates include:
• Brent Bauer, Director of Product, Umpqua Feather Merchants and current AFFTA Board Vice Chair
• Toby Swank, Owner, Fins & Feathers of Bozeman
• Corinne Doctor, Co-owner, RepYourWater
• Linda Leary, Owner, Fishe Wear
• Tim Volk, Director of Operations, Waterworks-Lamson
2019 BOD Election timeline:
► October 1, 2019 – Ballots Emailed to Membership and AFFTA General Election Opens
► October 12, 2019 – Close of AFFTA General Election, Return Ballot Deadline
► On or before Oct 17, 2019 – New AFFTA Board Members Notified
► On or before October 17, 2019 – New Board Member Announcement to Membership and Public
► 1st Quarter 2020 – Newly Elected Board Members take office
