This November, Simms is once again honoring our nation’s veterans by donating proceeds from sales of a special edition Made-in-USA wader.

Last year, Simms launched the G3 Guide™ Wader – WQW Limited Edition to help benefit the Bozeman-based Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation (WQW).  WQW helps reintegrate post-9/11 combat veterans into society by building hope and resilience, facilitating camaraderie, and providing security and serenity through fly fishing in southwest Montana.

The G3 Guide™ Wader – WQW Limited Edition is the company’s only launch of a custom wader, made possible by utilizing the country’s last remaining wader manufacturing facility.  The wader features 5-layer and 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro Shell fabric, Multicam® camo pocket, belt loops and top hem, WQW custom patch, and all of the same features found in the award-winning G3 Guide™ Stockingfoot.

“Last year was an important milestone for Simms and our relationship with Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation.  It just felt right to launch a WQW limited edition product in our most popular category, especially with our Production Team here in Bozeman.” says Diane Bristol, Simms’ Sr. Director, Employee & Community Engagement and Warriors and Quiet Waters Board Member.  “Simms is proud to team with WQW. Fly fishing is a powerful tool to reintegrate these warriors back into society.”

Simms also supports Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation by hosting each of the organization’s week-long Fishing Experience (FX) trips to Montana during the fishing season.  Each warrior is outfitted with a selection of Simms gear and is given a tour of Simms’ wader manufacturing facility.

“Simms has been a key partner in our organization since it’s founding and the launch of this wader provided unprecedented exposure,” says Faye Nelson, Executive Director, Warriors and Quiet Waters.  “We are glad anglers around the country can join us this November in recognizing our nation’s veterans.”

While Simms will continue to offer this exclusive wader in their product line and continue to raise funds for WQW, they will be celebrating the proceeds already raised in a presentation to the staff of WQW on November 12th at the Montana State University Bobcat Football Military Appreciation game in Bozeman.

Anglers can see the wader at www.simmsfishing.com or at select special retailers across the U.S.  For a complete list of retailers, visit www.simmsfishing.com/wqw.
