Buffalo Creek Ranch | Seasonal Position (Summer & Fall)
Buffalo Creek Ranch is seeking a dedicated, hardworking team/ couple to join our operation for the upcoming season. Our ranch hosts guests for world-class fly fishing in the summer and big-game hunting adventures in the fall. We pride ourselves on providing authentic Western hospitality, unforgettable outdoor experiences, and a welcoming family-driven atmosphere.
The Buffalo Creek Ranch
The Buffalo Creek Ranch is a private 10,000-acre Ranch near Rand, Colorado. Rand is a small town located in North Park, approximately 100 miles west of Fort Collins, 60 miles east of Steamboat Springs, and 40 miles south of the Colorado/ Wyoming border. At the Buffalo Creek Ranch, we specialize in fly fishing and big-game hunting, hosting small groups for 4- to 5-day stays. During the fly-fishing season, our lodge is open Sunday through Thursday from June 1st until the first week of September. Afterward, we switch to big-game hunting, which runs from September through mid-November during Colorado’s big-game seasons.
We also own and operate North Park Anglers Fly Shop in Walden, Colorado, as well as the North Park Anglers Private Fly-Fishing Club.

Position 1: Hunting & Fly-Fishing Guide
Responsibilities:
• Guide guests on fly-fishing trips throughout the summer season
• Guide big-game hunting clients during the fall
• Provide expert instruction, safety, and outdoor education to all guests
• Maintain and prepare gear, equipment, and vehicles
• Assist with ranch duties as needed (landscaping, painting, general maintenance)
• Assist with Fly Shop retail duties as needed
• Assist with Fly Fishing Club Duties
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a professional hunting and fly-fishing guide
• Strong knowledge of local wildlife, fly fishing for trout, gear, and local regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Clean driving record and ability to operate ranch vehicles
• CPR/first aid certification preferred
Position 2: Lodge Hospitality & Housekeeping
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional guest service in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
• Oversee daily lodge housekeeping, guest room turnover, and laundry
• Assist with meal service, dining room prep, and general lodge hospitality
• Keep common areas clean, stocked, and welcoming
• Cleaning and preparation of the other Ranch facilities and Guest Rentals
Requirements:
• Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or guest services
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to support guests throughout their stay
