Ever dreamed of working in a fly shop and spending your summer fly fishing the legendary waters of Montana? Wolf Creek Angler is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, motivated individuals willing to work long hours doing everything from retail sales to launching boats to running vehicle shuttles to grounds-keeping and basic maintenance around our property.
Guides and wannabe guides need not apply. Our guide roster is full for the season and while moving from shop work into guiding is undoubtedly a natural progression in the industry, we’re looking for individuals who are excited about what goes on in a fly shop, not those who are going to spend their shop time daydreaming about being a fishing guide. Customer Service is our number one priority.
Along with our fly shop and guide service we operate an 11 unit lodging facility and also offer drift boat rentals and vehicle shuttles so there is always work to be done. That being said, we are two miles from the famous Missouri River and there will be plenty of time to spend exploring this amazing fishery. Live, work, and play in one of the most popular trout fishing destinations in the world!
On-site housing is available. We offer employee discounts on all merchandise and free access to drift boats and as an industry professional you will have the opportunity to qualify for pro deals from all the top names in the industry.
Experience is helpful though not required. We do expect a working knowledge of basic fly fishing techniques, basic knots, some familiarity with fly patterns and the bugs they represent and most importantly, a dedication to exceptional customer service. Expect 30 + hours/week, some split shifts.
A clean driving record and the ability to back up vehicles with trailers is required. Basic computer and telephone skills expected. Experience with Lightspeed or other retail point of sale systems is helpful.
