The Fly Shop, in Redding, California, is in search of a retail sales associate who is experienced in working in fly fishing and with the public.
The Fly Shop is located in Northern California with 6 beautiful rivers within driving range as well as many lovely lakes. We also offer Private Waters, Guide Service, Kid’s Camps, Schools and International Travel.
Your daily tasks will include: helping walk-in customers, answering phones and directing calls, filling online and phone orders, stocking the floor with incoming product, inventory when needed, and customer input. You will also be responsible for promoting additional service when the opportunity presents itself.
The Fly Shop is celebrating our 47th year in business and have been America’s Fly Fishing Outfitter since 1978. We have experienced and knowledgeable managers to help you succeed in your fly fishing career.
The perfect candidate would be someone who loves fly fishing and the outdoors, a self starter, someone that likes to stay busy and doesn’t need to be baby sat throughout the day. Must have basic math skills for opening/closing the register as well as providing change to customers. Google Suite would be a bonus as we use this for email and interoffice communications.
