From The Fly Fishing Show:
How are we handling COVID-19 protocols at each show?We feel it is very important to do our part to combat the spread of COVID-19, and to keep our guests, employees, families and communities safe. We will follow all national, state and local health protocols related to COVID-19 at the time of the show. We recommend following all CDC guidelines in terms of mask wearing and vaccination. We strongly encourage staff and attendees to stay home if they are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19, and to get tested for COVID-19.
The Fly Fishing Show has contracted Epistemix to evaluate and run metrics on the safety of our events and will continue to monitor the situation. Epistemix will build a model of the event and provide data from the event simulations to assess the COVID-19 risk based on attendee demographics, on-site mitigation strategies, county-specific immunity, vaccination numbers, and a range of scenarios that can impact the trajectory of the pandemic.
Epistemix will calibrate the county of where the event is being held and run simulations across scenarios of how the epidemic could change between now and the event to determine the most effective guidance for the Customer. The data can be used to draw a line between the economic and public health objectives to support a safe return to pre-pandemic activities.

Our Convention Centers are following state guidelines and once we get closer to the show dates we will share those specifics. With the information changing so often we feel it’s best to get through the holidays and evaluate closer to the timeframe of the shows.
