Angling Trade and Trout Unlimited have collaborated on a comprehensive gear guide, launched last week. Do please check it out and share it with your customers; we produced it to help drive sales for your businesses!
What makes this gear guide unique is that the reviewers aren’t all just magazine editors and writers (sure, there are a few of us in there…) but also everyday grassroots angling consumers from the TU family—women, men… older, younger… die-hards and newbies… from teachers to lawyers, guides, heavy equipment operators, and so on. In other words, honest reviews by anglers for anglers, wrapped around some keen professional insights from people who have been following this market for decades. We even included some videos featuring some of you, grabbed at IFTD in Denver.
THIS IS A WORK IN PROCESS, and we intend to update and add to this. Angling Trade and TU are going to produce a massive, consumer-facing resource of product reviews, and this represents the first small steps in that process. We decide who reviews the product. We don’t send products back. If we like it, we write about it or show it on video. If we don’t, we won’t “pan” it, but we won’t cover it.
