The Tailer Trash Fly Fishing Podcast in Oak Hill, FL is holding a fundraising event for the benefit of The Marine Discovery Center on June 22nd 2019.
MDC is the the selected nonprofit recipient of funds raised through the Inaugural Dingy Derby & Poker Run, with proceeds benefitting the center’s restoration program. Their restoration program enables citizens to participate in shoreline restoration projects and citizen science-based estuary water quality monitoring programs like Lagoon Watch.

In addition to monetary donations and 50% of participant’s registration fee, a raffle is being held at the conclusion of the event to maximize the gift to MDC.

Mosquito Lagoon is an imperiled estuary facing a multitude of issues that has led to a reduction in its overall health and fish populations. Its our hope that by donating to MDC, the fly fishing community can contribute to its improvement.
