From BHA:
Join us June 9th at the Rep Your Water Headquarters for BHA’s Beer and Gear for the Backcountry Gear Swap!
We’ve all got outdoor gear laying around the house that we’d love to sell or trade for new gear – so grab that fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, camping, ski gear, and any other outdoor gear you’d like to sell or swap to Beer & Gear for Backcountry on June 9 and help support BHA!
Already have plans for the day but still want to sell some gear? Bring it in the morning, we’ll sell it for you on consignment, and you can pick up your profits later that evening. Want to swap gear for other used gear? Bring it, and we’ll provide you a table and chairs to “hawk your wares” with others.
Along with the gear sale and swap, Beer & Gear for Backcountry features a wild-game meal harvested by BHA Front Range members and prepared and served by Field to Table Outdoors, craft beers courtesy of our friends at Upslope, cornhole and beer (water) pong tournaments, cooking demonstrations, and live music by Streamline Cannonball (bluegrass) and The Bellyrubs (funk rock).
You choose what percentage of your consignment sales support the cause. Donate a little or a lot. All proceeds support Backcountry Hunters and Anglers’ work to conserve our public lands, waters and wildlife. $20 suggested donation includes entry in the swap and sale, two drink tickets, cooking demonstrations, and live music.
Timeline:
- 6-9 am: Consignment dropoff
- 9 am: Swap and sale begins
- 10 am-noon: Streamline Cannonball’s set, cooking demonstrations
- 11-1 am: Wild game meal prepared by Field to Table Outdoors
- Noon: Step up to the mic for public lands open mic
- 2-5 pm: The Bellyrubs set, cornhole and beer (water) pong tournament
- 5-7: Farewell and consignment pickup.
No guns or ammo please. This event has no profit to the harvest, preparation, cooking, eating or serving of wild game. See you at Beer & Gear for Backcountry!
