Global Rescue, a travel risk and crisis management firm providing the finest medical, security, evacuation and travel intelligence services to enterprises, governments, associations and individuals, today announced its partnership with Trout Unlimited, the nation’s preeminent coldwater conservation organization to benefit North America’s coldwater fisheries and thousands of anglers.

“Over 99 percent of Trout Unlimited members fish and whether it is on their local water or the trip of a lifetime, we want to give them every opportunity to enjoy the resource safely. That’s why we’re partnering with Global Rescue,” said Joel R. Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer of Trout Unlimited.

Over the last decade, Global Rescue has performed more than 7,000 operations for individuals, families and enterprises, providing medical advisory, field rescue, destination intelligence and medical and security evacuation services. From travel assistance to medical evacuation in emergencies, anglers can enjoy additional peace of mind.

TU will benefit from the partnership in several ways. Global Rescue will donate a portion of the proceeds of the sale of its memberships back to Trout Unlimited to aid in its mission of protecting and restoring coldwater fisheries. Members will also benefit from special content including stories and tips from Global Rescue on how to make their fishing experiences safer in the major donor newsletter of Trout Unlimited, The Complete Angler. TU members will be provided a special code to use when purchasing a Global Rescue membership to ensure the organization receives the donation. Global Rescue will also help TU grow its membership by providing trial TU memberships to its customers, though some restrictions will apply.

“We’re proud to say Global Rescue is the preferred provider of field rescue, medical advisory, and evacuation services for Trout Unlimited and hope our members will consider the service to keep them safe on their next fishing trip,” Johnson said.

“Global Rescue is committed to conservation and supports dozens of conservation organizations around the world. For the angling community, no conservation organization comes close in stature to Trout Unlimited,” said Global Rescue CEO Dan Richards. “Global Rescue shares TU’s commitment to preserving, protecting and restoring North America’s coldwater fisheries and watersheds. As TU members live out their passion for fishing around the world, our priority is their health and safety.”
