Front Range Anglers, Boulder Colorado’s premier fly‐fishing center, is partnering with The Orvis Company to extend its selection of high‐ quality flyfishing rods, reels and technical gear to the greater Boulder market.

For years Front Range Anglers has nurtured a strong and passionate flyfishing community, with educational seminars, expert fly‐tying instruction and equipment demos throughout the year, as well as a 15‐person professional guide service focused on local Front Range and Rocky Mountain National Park waters. The company has built a unique national and international adventure‐travel program focused on Christmas Island, and through a strong relationship with Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures of Bozeman, Montana and their 140 fishing locations.

“We are excited to expand the top‐quality equipment options for our customers,” said Steve McLaughlin, president of Front Range Anglers. “We help people at every experience level get the most from their flyfishing time, and this partnership with Orvis adds to our range of products and services.” Front Range Anglers has specialized since 1982 in premium equipment brands, including Orvis, Sage, Winston, Hatch, Ross, Scott, Fishpond and Umpqua products.

To kick off this new partnership, Orvis representatives participated in Front Range Anglers’ Customer Appreciation Events, including an Orvis VIP evening on April 10th, where attendees had a chance to win a Helios 2 rod and reel package. They were also on‐ hand at the annual Customer Appreciation Day and 33rd Anniversary Sale on April 11th to showcase the Orvis product line.

Founded by Charles F. Orvis in Manchester, Vermont, in 1856, The Orvis Company is America’s oldest mail‐order outfitter and longest continually‐operating fly‐fishing business. Orvis donates 5 percent of pre‐tax profits every year to protecting nature, supporting communities, and advancing canine health and well‐being.
