Many of you clearly understand the devastating effects recent floods have had in Colorado. One of my favorite organizations, The Greenbacks, a younger offshoot of Trout Unlimited, is working with Front Range Anglers and Colorado Trout Unlimited to create a relief fund called “Restore the Range.” And on November 8, the group will host simultaneous events in three Colorado locations–Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Steamboat Springs–to premiere the latest Confluence Films production called Waypoints. Confluence, led by Chris Patterson and Jim Klug, brought us the acclaimed films Drift, Rise, and Connect.

This is sure to be a great event, and all shops, anglers, clubs, etc., are encouraged to attend, as 100% of proceeds will be going to the relief fund. There is nothing better to do when you are not fly fishing than to be with a hundred or so kindred spirits thinking about and watching fly fishing… and it’s even better when it’s for a cause.

No excuses. Mark your calendars. Go to one of the events. Please.
