Fly Fishing in Salt Waters Gets an Overhaul

Kudos to Fly Fishing in Salt Waters editor John Frazier, who recently shared an advance copy of the new, re-branded magazine.  Established in 1994, the FFiSW has enjoyed a strong presence in its niche.  But as we all know, times are tough in print media, and sometimes, radical changes are necessary to keep things moving ahead.

When you see the new magazine, you’ll take notice.  It’s sharper, it’s edgier, and it’s more with the times, both in terms of the overall look, and the content.  For more information, see flyfishinsalt.com.

Also, if you haven’t already, you’ll want to check out Fly & Light Tackle Angler, a fully interactive, digital magazine now available for iPad.  FLTA is edited by long time industry insider (and AT contributor) Mike Conner.  Six issues are planned for 2013, and features focus on coastal and warm freshwater fisheries, with occasional cold water stories added for good measure.  The writing is top notch, featuring some of the most experienced author/anglers in the field.  Check out flyandlighttackleangler.com for more details, and stay tuned for more coverage in the next print issue of Angling Trade.
