The FLyBOOK to release Upgrades for Reservation and Business Management System

The FLyBOOK(™) is sending initial notifications to current users regarding the release of the first of several rounds of upgrades for 2012. The tentative release date is 2/1/12. This initial round of upgrades will be focused on guide account features, and internal scheduling enhancements.

Many of FLyBOOK(™) customers manage guide rosters that are made up of independent contractors.  They also have  staff members that are part time or need flexible scheduling; or might work for other area based outfitters.  The FLyBOOK will be able to provide the system administrator with the ability to allow select  guides the tools to manage their own availability. For example, if Outfitter “A” has a guide who is an independent contractor and doesn’t exclusively work for Outfitter “A”,  that guide can been given the ability via their FLyBOOK guide account to manage their own availability within the Outfitter “A” FLyBOOK system. This new function should limit the countless phone calls between outfitter and guide to continually update schedules and confirm availability.
