CALGARY – July 15, 2009 – Bird Marketing Group (BMG)*, the leading Canadian authority on fly fishing in North America has named Jennifer Bird Publisher of its print division. In this role, Jennifer will oversee all operational aspects of Fly Fusion magazine as well as Fusion Books, the companies developing book publishing division. She will report directly to the BMG board.

All changes are effective immediately and will no doubt increase our visibility as we move to position Fly Fusion as a leader in its field.”
Jennifer goes on to say that Chris Bird will continue with his executive duties within the company and has been named Group Publisher which will allow him to oversee all of BMG’s media properties. “The role of Group Publisher was created to more effectively identify and capitalize on the significant synergies that are present between BMG’s media properties”, says Jennifer Bird, “and Chris will no doubt capitalize on those opportunities.”
