Daytona Beach, Fla. – January 6, 2011 – Costa sunglasses recently added to its team sunglass industry veteran Bill Poupart as western regional sales manager.
Prior to joining Costa, Poupart worked for Sunbelt Optics and Mountain Shades, serving as the national sales manager for both companies. During his tenure with Mountain Shades, Poupart gained industry experience as the Rocky Mountain West distributor for Ray Ban and Serengeti sunglass brands, serving the fishing, outdoor, ski and optical markets. He also spent time as an independent field sales representative for Nike Vision and Nikon sunglasses and optical.
In his role at Costa, Poupart will be responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives in the Western region of the United States. Although Costa already has a significant presence among outdoor and adventure enthusiasts in the West, Poupart’s goal for this year is to expand the company’s market share in the region.
Based in Bozeman, Mont., Poupart is an avid fly fisherman and mountain biker.
